Bento bag

As a child I was convinced that Taina and I were the most fashionable girls in town. Those days we did not have Internet, mobile phones or fashion programs and the fashion trends took two years two arrive in Finland. First the trend took about a year to reach Sweden and then another year for Finland. Taina and me both ordered swedish teenie/fashion magazines and so we new what was hot a year earlier than the others (or so I thought). :)

I visited Edinburgh Yarn festival in March and not that Edinburgh itself is the fashion mecca but there were so many "big names" from knitting scene I dare to say I spotted a trend again: Bento bags!!

Yesterday we had our project bags but today we carry our projects in Bento bag. There are numerous tutorials in Internet so I don't go there. But I also can not give up so I still try.
And today I am happy, really happy about my very own Bento bag

I made mine out of an old pillowcase, took about an hour to make it and although it is not the greatest work of art I am happy and it really is very handy. I tried it, walked around in our village and it works!
